Champagne Père Pinot 2 is a family wine, paying tribute to the previous generations of the Maison DRAPPIER, particularly to George, the great-grandfather of the current generation, who championed Pinot Noir all his life and whose nickname was "Père Pinot". This is the second edition of this cuvée.

Made from equal parts Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and the very rare Fromenteau and Blanc Vrai, it is aged in wood, with no added sulfur and very low dosage (1.8g/L with 40-year-old liqueur).

This Champagne Père Pinot 2 from Maison Drappier offers a full attack with aromas of prune and bergamot. The finish, by contrast, is very precise, marked by smoked salt.

You can enjoy this cuvée as an aperitif or with a meal, as an accompaniment to Peking duck, or for dessert, with a salad of peaches and grilled almonds.

This champagne comes from a very small production run: only 1,764 numbered bottles have been produced. Don't wait !
